Peacefully at Meadow Park Nursing Home, London, on Wednesday, January 21, 2009, Henry Penner of London in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Jane (Fry) Penner (2005). Proud father of
Sharon Stewart and her husband Jim of London and Michael Penner and his wife Colleen of Chatham. Loving grandfather of Chris Stewart and his wife Tamara, Olivia (Alex), Laura (Luis Miguel), Emily and Brady Penner and great-grandfather of Jeremy Stewart. Hank’s honest, straight-forward character and generosity will be forever missed by those whose lives he touched. Hank was always concerned for his family and their well-being. Through his passion for nature his family continues to enjoy God’s Creation. A private family service will be conducted at Woodland Cemetery, London.     We recently learned of Hank’s death. What a great man and scoutmaster he was. Always so patient with us as teenagers learning to be scouts. It’s been said the growing good of the world is partly dependant on unhistoric acts. Well Hank, you made history with us.
