At Parkwood Hospital, London on Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Captain Donald Wayne Harrington of London in his 60th year. Dear father of Adam Harrington and his partner Bridget and Holly Harrington and her partner Adam Wood all of London. Dear son of Frances Harrington and the late Donald Harrington Sr. Also loved by his granddaughter Georgia and the mother of his children Brenda Harrington. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Monday, November 17th at 11:00 am. Cremation. Don retired from the London Fire Department after 30 years of service. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. There are some families you always remember,and yours is one of them. I often think of you and wonder how you are doing. I live in BC now and read the LFP on line,and I was very shocked to read of Don’s passing away. My prayers are with you all. Take care. I would love to hear from you. Don was a Mentor to me, as a rookie Firefighter 15 years ago,he always looked out for his crew and always imparted his knowledge to those who needed it most.Our thoughts and prayers are with Don’s Family and many friends, God Bless

Branda, I am so sorry to learn about Don’s passing. I got behind in my newspapers & didn’t read the notice until Weds. I am so sorry I missed the visitation.
