Joan & Dave, Robert, Andrew & Jeff,
We are so sad on hearing of the passing of your mother and grandmother. I remember her as a very kind lady that always wanted to talk about your life. She always asked how our children were doing in school and in their life even though we saw her infrequently and always remembered their names. She was very pleasant to talk to. I know you will miss her dearly. My heart is with you at this sad time.
Sincerely,
Coby & John Donnelly
We are very sad to learn of Alice’s passing.
We met Alice and Harry when we moved into our first home on Hickson Avenue in 1990. Alice and Harry were our neighbours next door.
We always felt so lucky to have such a lovely couple beside us and looking our for us.
It was a sad time when Harry passed away and we watched Alice’s determination to keep up with the house chores on her own.
We’d catch her out shoveling her drive way and offer to help her out. She’d turn us down flat, saying that the exercise was good for her.
We moved from Hickson Avenue in 1997 and the hardest part of leaving that home was not being able to regularly see our friend Alice.
We will remember a wonderful lady who was a very kind friend and neighbour.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
