Hi York:
Although I only knew you for the last 10 years I have many fond memories of the many weekends we spent together at Jean’s in London and our place in Burlington. I especially remember our trip to the Warplane Museum in Hamilton and the RM Auctions Museum in Blenheim to look at the old cars on display. You taught me a lot about nice clothing and how to wear it and big band jazz. I still enjoy listening to Stan Kenton and June Christy who you introduced me to.
May You Rest in Peace
Your Friend
Mark
My deepest sympathy to all of York’s family. However, I do want to express my deep gratitude for the years of dedicated support York provided for my mother, Jean Fox. Without this support, my mother would not have been able to stay in her home for ten years after being stricken with blindness.
York was steadfast and loyal to the responsibility that fate placed upon him.
I thank God that York’s passing was quick and that he did not have to begin the process of dialysis. That is something I knew he did not want to endure.
Rest in peace York.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of York’s passing. I work at Huron Motor Products, in Exeter, where I had the pleasure of meeting York many years ago. I always enjoyed my visits with York – we would talk about everything under the sun, including his family and how much he enjoyed visiting his sister “up North”. York was a gentleman with a very kind heart and he will be deeply missed. Please know you are in my thoughts during this very sad and difficult time.
With Sincere Sympathy,
Anne Sullivan

On behalf of the Chatham Maroon Oldtimers Hockey Association, we express our deepest sympathies to Jeff, Patty and the entire Stewardson family in this time of sorrow in passing of Jeff’s father.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your extended family Jeff…
Thank you to all for your condolences. We will miss him but remember his passing not as a time of sorrow but as a celebration of his life.
It is never good-bye in finality but IS and WILL ALWAYS BE UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN…
BYE for now Dad.
Laura
