I was very sorry to read in the paper of your father’s passing. I believe that Mike and I met him once, at a gathering at your house to watch the Olympic hockey final. I am sorry to say that I am unable to attend the funeral, but know that I am thinking about you at this time.

Dear Esther –
We were sorry to see in the paper of Colin’s death. I hadn’t seen you for a long time and then we had the nice visit that day recently at the shoe store when you told me he was at Parkwood. I did have a card for you and then realized I did not have an Apt.# so knew it would not get delivered if just sent to Apt. building.
Seeing in the paper you could send condolences by email wanted to send our sincere sympathy to you and your family.
