GIVEN – GRAHAM….
Quietly at the Dearness Home, London, on Monday, September 1, 2008, Violet Given in her 95th year. Violet was born in London and is predeceased by her parents Edward and Emmaline Mason. Loved wife of the late R. Joseph Given and the late Harrison D. Graham. Mother of three daughters Ruth Stolk (Dale) of Sarnia, June Jackson (the late Sherwood) of Stratford and Patricia Gregory of Ottawa. Grandmother of six; Constance, Catharine, Douglas, Jay, Dale, and Victoria. There are ten great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Survived by her sister-in-law Kay Mason. She is the last of her immediate family being predeceased by her brothers Perce (Elizabeth), Harold (Rene), Harry, and her sister Florence Marley (Sam). Also from her second marriage Violet is survived by her step-children Peter Graham (Veronica), Anne Laforet (Norm) and Rick Graham (Pam) all of London. Also loved by her grandchildren Sherrie, Susan, Mark, Melissa, Chris, Michael, Jennifer and by her 6 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior (10:00 – 11:00 am) to the memorial service being conducted in the chapel of the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Friday, September 5, 2008 at 11:00 am. Interment of cremated remains in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London.
