BOUWMAN –
On Saturday June 7, 2008 after a short illness the Lord has called home his daughter, Fetje “Fran” Bouwman (nee Bruinsma) of London in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Matthys Johannes “Marty” Bouwman (1998). Dear mother of Lucinda Hedger (Bill), Rika Orendorff, and Marty Bouwman (June). Predeceased by her daughter Maria Gignac (1999). Fran will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Derek Gignac (Karie), Jennifer McCormick (Sean), Chris Orendorff (Adriana), Robert Hedger, Andrea Reddam (Mark), Kari Gignac, Jack Orendorff, Nicole and Blaire Bouwman and great grandson Evan. Sister of Griet Bakker (Rein) and John Bruinsma (Toni), sister-in-law of Fred Bouwman, Alica Bruinsma, Riek Siebert and Boukje Bruinsma. Also survived by her son-in-law Ken Gignac (Shirley) and many nieces and nephews in Canada and the Netherlands. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday June 9, 2008 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. A funeral service will be conducted from the First Christian Reformed Church, 513 Talbot Street, London on Tuesday June 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Pieter Pereboom officiating. Interment in Pond Mills Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the London Christian Parental School 202 Clarke Road, London N5W 5E4, Riverview Gardens Nursing Home 519 King Street West, Chatham N7M 1G8 or the charity of your choice.
