At the Dearness Home, London, on Wednesday, April 23, 2008. Betty I. (Hyatt) Hay of London in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon R. Hay. Dear mother of Donna Verberne and her husband Steven of London and Jerry Hay and his wife Lois of Barrie. Predeceased by her daughter Joan Park and her son Bob Hay. Dear sister of Marg Blinkhorn and her husband Bill. Predeceased by her brothers Wesley, Leonard, Bob and Tom Hyatt and her sisters, Lillian Bowering, Ruth Duncan and Gladys “Duff” Ogglesby. Also loved by her grandchildren, Stephen and Jody, Brent, Brian and Teresa, Jody and Terry, Robin and Darren, Carrie and Stephen, Lesley and Karen and John, her great-grandchildren, Nathan, Caleb, Aiden, Theo, Joshua, Robert, Julie and Rachael, her son-in-law Allan Park and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Saturday, April 26th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Lobo Baptist Cemetery, Lobo Friends who wish may make memorial donations to the charity of your choice.
