On behalf of my mother Margaret Bannon(Basil’s sister), and our family, we wish to send our sincere condolences to the family on the death of Helen Pocock.
Aunt Helen has always been a part of my life and I have some good memories of times with her. In particular, I remember she and Uncle Basil coming to visit our home for Sunday dinner and they always arrived in a shiny, well taken care for car. For many years the Pocock family has gathered for our annual family picnic. For the last several years, Aunt Helen was unable to attend because of failing health, but prior to this would never miss the picnic.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to attend her funeral service as we will be away.
A donation to the Heart and Stroke Association has been made in Helen’s memory by Margaret Bannon (Address: 45 Metcalfe Street, St. Thomas, ON N5R 5Y1).
A donation has been made to the Canadian Cancer Association in Helen’s memory by Ron and Maureen McCormick (Address: 19 Augusta Crescent, Unit 11, St. Thomas, ON N5R 6J7).
Sincerely,
Maureen McCormick

I’d like to extend my condolences to her remaining family and friends. Aunt Helen always seem to be in a good mood with a happy disposition, even the last times we visited after Uncle Basil passed.

We at Physical Relief Health Care express our condolences to the friends and family of Mrs. Helen Pocock. She was a lovely lady who was bright and cheery and loved to draw pictures for us at the office, to which we display proudly. A special note from the Personal Support Worker “Joanna” who took care of Helen for over 8 years, they had a very special friendship, and Helen expressed many thanks to Joanna for her kindness through the years. She will be missed, and was truly loved by all.
