My sincerest condolences. I’ll never forget how warmly Alan welcomed me ‘into the family’ over the past two years. His humour, intelligence, and love of life powered through all adversities he faced. There is so much of him living in you, Mark, and I deeply appreciate that.

Mark, we are saddened to hear of the sudden passing of your father. When you lose someone you love, your own life will feel strange and the ground beneath you will feel fragile. Take gentle care of your mother and yourself in the days ahead. Let grief do the work it must do, let the wound of loss heal gently over time.
In sympathy, CSO friends David and Nicola

Hi Mark (and Anna too)
I never had the privilege of meeting your father, but I have no doubt that many of your parent’s attributes are reflected within yourself, and we all know what a “sweetie” you are. From what I have already read here, your father sounds like he was a very caring and loving person who has left a special and unique “soul print” behind. Know that we share in your grief and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Sincerely, Cathie
