Thinking of you at this time.
when a loved one passes away, we often search for ways to express our grief and offer a final tribute
Bruce put his heart and soul into enjoying his life
He was generous with his time, thoughts and actions for the baptist church
His family will miss him as he affected their lives in his own special way
He was a fighter and a survivor
David:
Mary and I are sorry to read of your father’s death. We have many fond memories of the spring and summer of 1980 when Bruce and you built the addition on 25 Belgrave Ave. Bruce was truly a fine man and a wonderful builder. Our prayers are with you and your family at this time.

As we are travelling, we cannot be with you at this time. However, you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Uncle Bruce was a strong & vibrant character, willing to support & help in any way he could. Many fond memories will remain with us.
Suzanne & family – This is a difficult time for you and the family, however, we know that Bruce is in the hands of his Master and that we shall see him in a much better place. We are sorry that we are going to be in South Carolina when the memorial service is to be held. We want you to know our thoughts and prayers will be with you and the family even though it is not possible for us to be with you in person.
To the Elgie Family: May you have treasured memories of Bruce in your hearts forever. We pray the Lord be with all of you in his absence.
Dear Suzanne,Paul & Sue and the rest of the Elgie Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I am asking the Comforter to minister His peace to your hearts. Bruce served his family, church and community well through the years. Bruce’s joy is unspeakable – his faith is now sight as he looks upon the face of his Blessed Saviour.
In His Love,

Dear Suzanne & family,
In memory of Bruce, a donation has been made to the Memorial Christian Hospital Renewal Project in Bangladesh.
from Mary LeCouteur and Bert Ellis.
I am sorry to hear of your loss. We own a mohogany wide top desk that we bought in the Oshawa area in 1989 and found the name Bruce E. Elgie printed on a piece of the wood from the desk. I wondered if this Bruce was your relative.
Sincerely,
Shirley Schmidt
