MCFARLANE……
At London Health Science Centre- University Hospital on Sunday, February 17, 2008, Anna (MacCuaig) McRae McFarlane in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late John Edgar McRae and the late Kenneth McFarlane. Devoted companion of James Gourlay. Loving mother of Janna Stephan and her husband Tom of New Jersey. Dear grandmother of Jesse, Brendan, Kylie and Nathan. Great grandmother of Kloey, Isabella, Ashley and Daniel. Anna will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Shaun Arthur McRae, by her parents John and Lusanna MacCuaig. Anna taught for many years in Glengarry County and Wallaceburg area. Before retiring in 1977 she taught art at Wallaceburg District Secondary School for several years. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends one hour prior to a memorial service which will be held in the chapel of the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, in the spring, at St. Andrews United Church in Dalhousie Mills will be announced at a later date. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of London & Middlesex, 555 Southdale Road East, Suite 100, London ON N6E 1A2 or to the Leukemia Research Fund, 936 The East Mall, Toronto ON M9B 6J9.
