Dear Judy and family. The picture of Don is the man I remember…. always smiling. I worked with Don for many years at the City and recently had a chance to catch up on things at a luncheon with former Design and Construction staff. Don always spoke highly of his family and was sincere in his words and actions. Don was a pleasure to work with, a truly proud husband and father and an honourable man. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time.
We are deeply saddened by Don’s passing. We adored him and he will be greatly missed. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Judy, we are thinking of you at this extremely difficult time! We didn’t get to know Don but understand how much he must have meant to you. Please accept our sincere condolences and hope that your wonderful memories will help soften the pain of his passing. Love, Don and Sandy

Judy, Ivy and Sharon,
It is with sadness that we send this message to you at this time.
We are grateful to have been informed by Jim Wilkie about Don’s passing so that we had the opportunity to send condolences. This is in lieu of our personal presence with you as we have just arrived at Kathy’s in Washington state for a winter stay.
Don was always a polite and caring young man, acknowledging us and speaking with us whenever our paths crossed at church dinners and the like. We will miss him, as we know you will also.
Sincerely,
Cam and Mary.
I considered Don to be a good friend. He was a man with many positive attributes. He loved his family intensely. He was always eager to help others out. He was loyal.
Don you’ve left a big gap in a lot of peoples lives and I look forward to spending time with you in heaven.
I am truly sorry for your loss Judy. My sympathies go to you and your family.
Mary

It is with deep thoughts and sadness that we send our sympathy to Judy and her family. We would be there in London today but regrettably will be unable to attend the service.
We remember and thank Don for how much pleasure and time Don and Judy gave our Mother, Anne Hambly while she lived in London.
I will miss his wonderful, his quiet thoughtful manner always having something very interesting to add to our conversation.
With deepest sympathy
Love Jane and Ron
It is with deep regrets that I learned of the recent death of Don.
My condolences to his family.
I can well remember our years together as Servers at The Church of St. Andrew Memorial. Fifty years ago Don and I took our first class journey together as Boy Scouts and I still occasionally look at my report of this trip.
Unfortunately the weather prevented my intended visitation at the Funeral Home
Mrs. Arnold and family:
As a member of the engineering business in London, I have known Don for over 30 years. In our dealings together, I always found Don to be honest, forthright, fair and helpful. We had an occasion to chat this past summer at a contractor function and he had mentioned his recent retirement and some of his plans. I am sorry to hear of his passing and wish to express my sympathy to you.
Judy, David & family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Don’s passing. Don was a very dedicated coworker and family man. I worked with the Don for many years and shared the same neighbourhood with the Arnold’s for 20 plus years and in all these years I don’t remember Don ever being down, but always with a smile on his face. He was a very proud husband, father and, in recent years, grandfather.
May these memories and all your personal memories of Don, help you through this difficult time.
Dear Judy and Family,
We were so sad to hear of Don’s passing. He was so kind, helpful and understanding during our rough times. We will always think of him fondly.
