In loving memory of a wonderful mom, a lady with incredible courage and strength, a great sense of humour, a soothing touch (and an excellent back scratcher!) a kind and giving heart, and a boundless love for her family. I could not ask for better parents than my Mom and Dad, and I know that their love has helped shape me and made me the person I am today. Thank you Mom for everything you did – I’ll always love you, and I’ll do my best to look after Dad
Love

Dear Mom,
Thank you for being a good mother to me over all those years as I grew from a little boy into a man. Thank you for accepting all of the toads, frogs and tadpoles that I brought home to be pets. Thank you for not getting too excited when the garter snake escaped in the basement. Thank you for giving me my first backpack and for letting me go on hikes by myself on early weekend mornings. Thank you for accepting the bundles of squashed and bedraggled dandelions that Shan and I would pick down by the creek and bring home to you where you would give them pride of place in a shot glass in the centre of the kitchen table. Thank you for all the bandaged knees and mercurochromed cut fingers. Thank you for being GÇ£thereGÇ¥, first for me, and later for Martha-Jean and for your grandchildren Meghan, David, and Narissa. Thank you for being my Mom.
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face to shine upon you. May the Lord turn his countenance upon you and give you peace. Now and forevermore. Amen.
Love,
Rob
