I am so sorry to hear about Laurel. I just don’t want to believe it. We were in T.P. together in 94 and 95. We became good friends, best friends I believe. She lived with me for a while. We lost touch. Goodbye Laurel. I will forever miss the friend I once had. I will always remember your silly laugh and your great love for Arrowsmith. I will pray that God bring you peace. Love, Karen

Dear Heather & Sheilagh,
How sad it is to hear of Laurel’s passing. Although it has been many years since I have seen any of you my memories of all of us are still vivid & very fond. Very young we were too.
I remember Laurel’s wicked sense of humour, her laugh, her & pretty smile. She was always so full of life & has certainly left us too soon.
My heartfelt sympathy to both of you & your families & to Laurel’s special friend Jeff.
Would like very much to be in touch.
With sadness

Heather, so sorry to hear about Laurel. Ken used to tell me what a good voice she had when they did their impromptu songs so long ago in B.C. I remember meeting her at your place in high school and she was a lovely person. My condolences to you and your family.

Dear Heather and Sheilagh I am really sorry to hear of Laurel’s passing. I have thought of you guys many times through the years. I can’t believe I was your babysitter. My thoughts and prayers are with you both and maybe we can keep in touch. Love Sheila

Dear Sheilagh and Heather and family.
Although I hadn’t seen Laurel in a long time, we were very close friends in London then shared an apratment while we went to college in Timmins. One of my best memories is of us relaxing, playing scrabble, while Silver sat on her lap. I have a photo of her and Silver on one of these evenings….I will never forget the night she graduated, surrounded by the family she loved. She was so proud of her accomplishment! Her sense of humour was sharp, and her laugh infectious! Above all, I recall her very deep sense of spirituality. Laurel, I will think of our shared memories whenever I smell Patchouli oil. I know you are at peace!
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
