Mary ,Gayle and families… I’m very sorry to hear of your Moms’ passing.I have very fond memories of sleepovers at your home as a child, and how good both your parents were to me.What a wonderful lady she was! We are thinking of you all. Bill and Jackie Mallett
Dear Gayle and Mary:
It is with great sadness that I am writing this note. I am in Lima, Peru, and regret that I will not be at the memorial service for your Mom.
I spoke with her before Christmas and wrote to her(the letter may not have arrived yet).
I am immensely indebted to your parents for taking me to Adelaide Street Baptist Church each Sunday. This began my Christian walk. My parents started to attend with my brother and sister! It all started with Helen and Harry Wase. Words are not adequate to express my thanks.
I am praying that God will comfort your hearts and carry both you and your families through this time of sadness to a place of peace.
With deepest sympathy Karen
Dear Gayle and Mary: I was sad to hear about Your Mom’s Passing but She will now be with your Dad and out of pain. What a wonderful couple they were. We all had so much fun at Adelaide. Now it seems so far away but the memories are so vivid. Your children and grandchildren have had the chance to have Her presents and how proud She was of all of you.
Sorry I couldn’t make it to the funeral home but I’m working this weekend. You will know my thoughts are with you.
We are so lucky to have had your Mom in our lives and Her smile will be missed so much. What a wonderful pictures of Her on the website.
Please take care of each other that is what She would want. Love each other as She loved you. You all filled Her life to the fullest. Everyone will have special memories in their heart of Harry and Helen Wase
Love Bette

Dear Gayle and Mary:
Sorry I missed the celebration of your Mom’s life yesterday but I had to work this weekend.
What wonderful memories each of us has of Her and your Dad. Your Mom’s smile was so beautiful and never a hair out of place. Did She sleep standing up? We had such great times at Adelaide and made so many lasting friends.
Your Dad every Sunday would come down the aisle and say Hi there Betsy your Mom would poke Him and say Her names not Betsy and He would wink at me.
We all had our pews and everyone sat in their own I can close my eye now and see everyone how we use to be.
You kids, your grandkid and great-grandkids have such a wonderful legacy. How your Mom loved each and every one of you and was so proud of the adults you have become. How She loved to see you all come into church on a Sunday morning Her face would just light up.
I will miss Her and Her smile every Sunday what a beautiful Lady.
Love Bette
