HENDERSON:
Enveloped in his daughters arms and surrounded by his grandchildren Archie Barnard Henderson passed away at Longworth Long Term Care, London in his 87th year, on Tuesday, February 12th 2008. Beloved husband of the late Grace (Jackson) Henderson and the late Margaret (Walker) Henderson. Dear father of Carol Vasquez and her husband Frank Manuel of London and Patricia Warren and her husband James of Priddis, Alberta. Dear brother of Mary Ross of London. Also loved by his grandchildren, Jamie Warren and his wife Melissa Salrin, Carie Warren and Melissa Warren. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior to the memorial service being conducted in the chapel of the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Thursday, February 14th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 123 St. George Street, London, ON N6A 3A1 On line condolences accepted at www.amgeorgefh.on.ca

    Dear Pat: It is has been over 40 years since we last seen one another but I had to write and send my sympathies for the loss of your wonderful dad. I remember him so well and have always had great memories of him. I’m sorry for your loss and do appreciate what you are going through at this time.     We are very sorry we could not be with you today. Our sympathy and love were there. We got to know Archie quite well through our association with Tom and Jan Coffey. We spent many happy times together. We will remember him fondly and miss those happy times.

    Heard from Vik Farrugia today (February 14) about your dad’s passing. We want to give our sincere condolences to you all. Archie will be missed by so many people. I didn’t know him too well but do remember our parents standing beside one another laughing about the height difference between them all.
