With great saddness the family announces the passing of Constance Alice “Connie” (Brown) Legg, a very special lady, on her 86th birthday, November 18, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Milton Wesley Legg (1984). Dear mother of Susan Alvaro and her companion Doug Pavey of London, Bonnie Archer and her husband Norm of Belmont, Sheila Betterley and her husband Karl of Whitby, Laraine Minnema of Port Stanley, Ruth Burger and her husband Bill of London, Patrick Corbett of Belmont and Sam Legg and his wife Connie of London. Loved grandmother of Greg, Jackie, Alicia, Wesley, Jason, Dean, Ann, Brian, Karlene, Kurt, Chris and Tyler and great grandmother to several great grandchildren. Dear sister of Haig Brown and his wife Lily of Windsor and sister-in-law of Margaret Furtney of Strathroy and Margaret Brown of Michigan. Predeceased by 3 brothers and 1 sister as well as her grandchildren Holly Alvaro (1991) and Samatha Legg (1984). Cremation will take place. Friends will be received by the family on Friday November 21, 2008 after 10:00 am at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where a memorial service will be conducted in the chapel on Friday, November 21, 2008 at 11:00 am with Reverend Janelle Towle officiating.
