Peacefully surrounded by his family and friends at his residence, on Thursday, January 22, 2009, Marcelo Eduardo Herrera ((age 89) of London and formerly El Salvador. Beloved husband of Argelia (Lozano) Herrera, married for 63 years. Loving father of Maria Barrientos and her husband Hector, Antonieta Herrera all of London, Marcelo Herrera and his wife Ney, Wilson Carlos Herrera and his wife Fanny all of Cambridge, Julio Herrera and his wife Rosa, Osmin Herrera and his wife Carmen and Edgardo Herrera and his wife all of El Salvador. Proud grandfather of Carmen Barrientos, Ana Barrientos, Hector Barrientos, Juan Barrientos and Joaquin Barrientos, Marcelo Herrera, Carlos Alfredo Herrera, Susana Sousa, Oscar Herrera, Reyna Herrera, Larissa Herrera, Fatima Herrera, Gabriel Herrera and Tanya Herrera, Anthony Herrera and Katherine Herrera and also survived by grandchildren in El Salvador. Also missed by his many great-grandchildren. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his 3 brothers and 1 sister. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9pm Sunday, January 25, 2009 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 46 Cathcart Street, London on Monday, January 26, 2009 at 10:00am with Father Pedro Delgado, Celebrant. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London. Prayers will be said in the chapel on Sunday at 7:00pm.
