CLARK….
At McCormick Home, on January 23, 2009, Phillis Mary “Pat” Clark passed away peacefully in her sleep. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Clark (1985). Dear mother of Ron Clark and his wife Rosemary of New Brunswick and Jim Clark and his wife Ingrid of London. Loving grandmother of Jeremy (Rebecca), Jordan (Sarah) and Kevin Clark and by her great-grandchildren Megan, Aiden and Henry. Also missed by her nephews Trevor and John Butterworth and her niece Margaret Watt and their families in England. Predeceased by her sister Betty and her brothers Alfred and Teddy. Pat was born and raised in England where she took her nurse’s training. She came to Canada as a WW II war bride, making her home with husband Ronald and sons Ron and Jim in London. When the boys started school, she returned to her nursing career taking many courses to upgrade her skills. She was also very artistic with a talent for sketching and painting as well as needlework. She loved to work in her garden and was a member of the London Garden Club for many years. Pat was an avid reader and loved poetry which she could still recite up to her passing. Our thanks to the wonderful staff at McCormick Home, London for their excellent, loving care of Pat these last few years. A private family inurnment in Woodland Cemetery, London, will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the McCormick Home Foundation, 2022 Kains Road, London ON N6K 0A8. (A. So sorry to hear about Auntie Pat’s passing . Such good childhood memories of good dinners & family times at your place .
Thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers .
Good memories .
God Bless all of you .
I was so sorry to hear about Aunty Mary’s death. I have happy memories of her sparkling chatterbox nature and mischievous humour. She was a lovely and much valued confidante to me in my teenage years.
Love and best wishes to all the family.
