OWEN, Matthew Thomas Robert

At London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital on Saturday, February 14, 2009 Matthew Thomas Robert Owen of London in his 20th year. Beloved son of Shannon Allan and Thomas Robert Owen and step-son of Michael Cornish. Dear brother of Natasha Cornish and Shannon (Scott) Maloley and their son Owen. Treasured grandson of Brian and Judy Austin, Ruth and George Owen and “Grandma” Allan. Dear nephew of Dan and Elizabeth Cornish, Emmerson and Deb Cornish, Steven and Helen Cornish, Dianne Cornish and Herb Ryder, Larry and Bonnie Owen, Don Owen, and George Owen. Dearly loved by Amanda Byrne, Rob Chaisson, Sarah, Kurtis, Tyler, Shantel and Nadine. Friends will be recieved by the family on Thursday, February 19, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the complete funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Friday, February 20, 2009 at 1:30 pm with Reverend Ken Taylor officiating. Cremation with interment in the Woodland Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated. Online condolences accepted at www.amgfh.com

    Shannon, Mike, and Natasha…We are so utterly overwhelmed with sorrow for your loss. I wish there was something remotely adequate that I could say or offer to help during this very tragic time. We feel so very saddened by this,as well as angered, but this we shall leave for another day.

    Matthew, your my older brother. I love you so much. I know now that all those times you were mean to me you did it cause you cared about me. You don’t want me to go down the wrong road. You want me to do good in life and I promise you that I will. I love you always and forever, never going to forget you or the good and bad times we had together. We were always there for each other, well mostly you were always there for me. Rest in peace Matthew.
