Peacefully on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Parkwood Hospital, George Asa “Toar” Deeves in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Deeves (1999). Loving brother to Mary Vander Voort and her husband Leo of Grand Island, NY. Sadly missed by his sisters-in-law Esther Deeves of London and Norma Deeves of Hanover and his brother-in-law Gene Naleway Sr. of Arizona. Also missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Lorraine, John “Jake”, Dorothy and Jim. Mary-Jane would like to give a special thank you to the nurses and his “family” at Parkwood Hospital. Friends will be received by the family on Friday, May 1, 2009 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 10:00 am. Interment to follow in Woodland cemetery.
