Dear Elliott family: We were very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. E (as we called him). I too will always remember him as a quiet but gentle man who was very supportive of his family and who loved his grandchildren and who celebrated their accomplishments. Personally, I will always remember the great kindness shown to me many years ago when I was in London for medical procedures and you opened your home to me. I’m sure he will never be forgotten. Love Virginia, Kevin, Sean and Meg
Dear Elliott and extended family: I am sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with you. May God bring Don to his home to watch over all of you.
Our sincerest condolences to Elva and family. Don was a wonderful and kind person. We were privileged to be his neighbours these past 12 years.
Elva, Cindy and family, Mark and family,
Please accept our condolences on Don’s death. Having worked with Don at Western Ontario Distributor (Metro News)for many years Bill and I have many fond memories of fun Christmas parties, ball games boat cruises and lot of laughs with Don and Elva. He was such a gentleman, good natured, and always willing to help his fellow workers. I can still hear him laugh at a good joke. We had an ongoing joke with Don about getting his family room built. It was taking him forever to get it finished. I am sure Cindy and Mark know how proud he was of you. We use to hear stories of your achievments and then when the grandchildren came along we got to hear about the things they were doing. He always beamed when he talked about his family. It has been a while since I saw Don but I will miss him dropping in. I can’t be at the service tomorrow but please know you will be in my thoughts and prayers. What wonderful memories I have with Don.
Hi Mrs. Elliot, I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your husband. My mom passed on the info, and I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you. Yesterday I had a concert at my daughters school where she was singing for the first time in the auditorium, and it made me think of when I was in grade one with you on the piano.
My are with you.
Keep in touch,
Mark
Dear Elva and Family
My thoughts are with you all. Reading the obituary, I know you must have so many good memories of your husband and father to keep in your hearts.
Sincerely
Donna Arnold
