Deeves, Esther…..Peacefully on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at University Hospital, Esther “Essie” Laura (Oehm) Deeves in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late John “Jake” Robert Deeves. Loving mother of Mary-Jane Kriter and her husband Brad of London and Amy-Lou Warner of London. Dear sister to Marion Kreutzkamp and her husband Clifford of Waterloo and Margaret Beddoe of Kitchener/Waterloo. Dear sister-in-law to Norma Deeves of Hanover, Mary Vander Voort and her husband Leo of Grand Island, New York and Gene Naleway Sr. of Arizona. Dear Nana to Abby, Stephanie, Sarah, and Andrew. Predeceased by her siblings Fred Oehm, Edna Henderson, Ruth Deeves, and her sister-in-law Dorothy Naleway, Lorraine Heimiller, Jim Deeves, George Deeves. Mary-Jane would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Mark Goldszmidt of University Hospital for his care, concern and time. Friends will be received by the family on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow in Woodland cemetery.
