To Patrick and Peter, sorry to hear of the loss of your Father on Sunday. Only met your Dad once, beside his beloved C170 at the airport, but I know you will miss him and will cherish some great memories of your flying days with Dad since your youth.
My condolances to all the rest of your family and friends as well, I look forward to seeing you and meeting them on Thursday at the memorial service.
Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.
Jim Millard
Pat and the Phillips Family.
I am saddened to hearing that your Dad has passed. My email is I love my truck…and why is that? I fell in love with a 1986 blue Chevy Pickup and needed to buy it 23 years ago. My Dad (Jack Brown) knew your Dad from the City of London and told Bill about the truck. Bill suggested that after I got the safety check done where I was buying it that I bring to his shop on Third Street. Bill would like to go over it. He did and he found about 1500 dollars worth of things that needed to be fixed before he would pass it! He then called them and demanded they do their jobs properly. I couldn’t believe that someone would stick his neck out for a girl he had met just a few times when I was little. This started a great friendship with mechanic and girl with blue pickup truck. I trusted Bill always and respected him and his talents. He was one of the good guys and I feel like he passed his talents and traits onto Pat as when Bill was no longer working at the shop Pat took care of my truck ” Tommy” and also my parents vehicles.
It may seem like a strange tribute but when people are honest, kind, caring and respected by others it is a loss for our troubled world. I hope there are nothing but blue skies ahead for Bill!
Sincerely, Tracey Brown
PS…I still have the truck!
