To Alma and all Barb’s family: Barb was very special to me. She was a quiet strength when I needed encouragement and was there for me when I needed help. I shall miss her. I am praying for you and trust you will draw your strength from our Lord in whose arms Barb is now.
Our sympathy to the Hazelwood family and Alma. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of grief and sorrow. Sincere condolences
To The Family,I was privileged to work alongside Miss Hazelwood for my first three years as a volunteer at Parkwood from January1,1985-1988.Her wisdom and compassion for all the staff was beyond reproach. When the author received an award as volunteer of the year in 1987 for the Healthcare Field for the City of London, she was the first person to congratulate me in her office the following Monday. Our organization is a cohesive better organization thanks to her very capable leadership. For us presently at Parkwood hospital we owe her our immense gratitude and thanks along with our clients for making the present organization what it is today. Her legacy will persevere now and forever in our hearts.God bless your family and keep them safe through this very difficult time. I worked for Barbara when she was Director of Nursing at Parkwood on Grand Avenue. She was a very fair and conscientious person, a strong leader in her work and gave all of her efforts to the care of Parkwood patients. I fondly remember Barbara.
