McDOWELL, Hazel….
Peacefully at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener on November 25, 2009, Hazel (Luno) McDowell of London, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late George McDowell (October 13, 2009). Loving mother of David McDowell and his wife Catrina of Pennsylvania, Diane McDowell and her husband David Slater of Toronto and Steven McDowell and his wife Susan of Waterloo. Cherished grandmother of Scott and Julia. Dear sister-in-law of Lorna McDowell of Vancouver. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 11:00 am at St. George’s Anglican Church, 227 Wharncliffe Road North, London. Following the service the family will receive friends at the reception. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to World Vision Canada, 1 World Drive, Mississauga ON L5T 2Y4. My deepest sympathy to the family,too have lost two great
people in such a short time.I have got to know Hazel over the years threw my work and I will miss her.
My deepest sympathy, as I only recently learned (due to being away)of Hazel’s passing. We always sat near each other in church and had telephone conversations. I will miss her, as well as George.
We were so sorry to only recently hear Mrs McDowell had passed away. Our deepest sympathies go to Mrs McDowell’s entire family- Mrs McDowell was one of the kindest and most loving women we have ever met. We miss both Mr and Mrs McDowell very much.
