I was always sorry that I didn’t live closer to my Uncle Jack, so I could spend more time with him. He was such a joy to be around.
My husband, Dick, and our daughters, Laura & Karen, and I remember Uncle Jack for his kindness, generosity, integrity, sense of humour, and his love of children. We are grateful that Uncle Jack had such and long and full life and enjoyed so many wonderful friendships. He definitely left this world a better place. I know that Aunt Shirley will miss him and we ask that God will continue to bless her.
love Sandra
You couldn’t find a greater man than my (Great) Uncle Jack. He sure loved everyone and everything, and was especially fond of kids. When I was a teenager and spent some time at Uncle Jack’s and Aunt Shirley’s cottage on Lake Huron, together he and I laughed and smiled a lot, played a lot of crib, joked with each other and enjoyed talking about anything. He was one in a million and I’ll never forget him.
Connecting back to Uncle Jack for the past 20 years has been such a blessing. The visits to the cottage and their home was full of love and generosity with such deep caring of all relatives and friends. I will miss the laughter, stories, jokes and long talks about family.
Jack was a unique person with such a positive outlook.
Jack and Shirley meant the world to me during my time in Canada. Bless you Shirley for taking such good care of Jack.
