HORNER, Rena Catherine

At Elmwood Place Retirement Community, London on Friday, December 2, 2011 Rena C. (Allison) Horner in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Archibald “Archie” Bert Horner (1995). Dear mother of Peggy Horner (John Lloyd) and the late Archie Horner. Friends will be received by the family on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 11:00 am with Reverend Wayne Prevett officiating. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 150-633 Colborne Street, London, ON N6B 2V3 would be appreciated.     Peggy: we were so sorry to hear of Rena’s passing. David and I both have fond memories of Rena (and Archie) which go a long way back! Rena looks very happy in this picture and I am sure you also have many happy memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

    Peggy, sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. Although it’s been many years since our childhood, our mothers are always special to us. My Mom passed nearly a year ago so you have my heartfelt sympathy.
