My condolences to Mrs. Telfer’s family. She was one of my elementary teachers from a long time ago. I respected her and her ways of teaching. She taught us how to be responsible citizens, how to act appropriately, how to treat people and most of all, how to appreciate the gift of learning. May she continue her many teachings for years to come through stories and memories.
My deepest sympathies to the whole family. I have fond memories of Hazel, she was a warm and generous person. Dave, I was very sorry to hear of your mothers passing.

Hazel and Thomas flew to Saint Lucia to bring donations and joy to the school there. That is when we got to know them better. We enjoyed the visit, and were able to reconnect through Rotary outings. We admired Hazel’s determination and genuine interest in others and the world around her. We will miss her, but will cherish the memories.
