I just want to say how much I enjoyed getting to know Norm at our monthly pastor’s gatherings. Norm was a true gentleman – kind hearted and sincere – a real man of God.
We are very sorry to hear of the passing of Norman he truly was a wonderful person. We were very fortunate to have spent time with him over the years as being a part of our extended family. My thoughts and prayers go out to all family members.

To Dorothy and Family: We extend our deepest sympathy to you. Norm was a good friend for over fifty years. I will greatly miss our telephone chats. May God sustain you all at this time.
My condolences to your family.
Our family attended the church Norm pastored in West Lorne many years ago before we moved to New Brunswick. Just recently my father talked about the day we moved, Norm came to see us off and stood in our driveway waving until we were out of sight. He was the only one to see us off. He is now in a better place and someday we will see him again. Our prayers are with all of you at this time.
As a very young man in Bible College, and far from home Dean Schlarbaum was my mentor, friend and hero. My thoughts and prayer are with Dorothy and the family.

Dorothy:
We were so surprised and saddened to hear of Norm’s passing. He was a wonderful Dean of Men at EPBC. We had high respect for him. We were so pleased that you both attended our wedding in Vineland on April 30, 1962. We are so happy that we knew “Bro. Schlarbaum.” We pray God’s comfort and peace for you at this time. We share your hope of resurrection and reunion.

Dorothy and family,
Was so sorry to hear of Rev. Schlarbaum’s passing. He was a great man, he always had a kind word to say and a wonderful smile to back it up. We had the pleasure of Norm officiating our marriage and for the passing of both my mom (Dorothy DeGraw) and my dad (Morley). Norm helped us through this very difficult time and was very professional and true to his beliefs. Rest in peace dear “Neighbour” The DeGraw Family and Thelma Gillies
Rita & I are very sorry to hear about the passing of Norman.
Age is never a reason to let a loved one depart.
I love the picture. Gilbert.
Dat Dere Dean, holds a special place in our memories and our hearts. Norm was as close to being ubiquitous as a person could get. We were privileged to have him as our Dean of Men and a teacher, back in the 50’s. He has been a friend ever since! He helped us to love God’s Word, and learn it!
We learned of Norm’s Heavenly promotion while visiting family out west. We are glad to have known him and to have sat under his teaching.
