At University Hospital, London on Saturday, December 15, 2012 Donald H. Blanchard in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Marna (Rose) Blanchard for 60 years. Dear father of Joan Stapleton (LeRoy) and James Blanchard all of London. Dear grandfather of Brianna Blanchard and Cassandra DeGraw (Brent) and great-grandfather of Parker and Brady DeGraw. Dear brother of Bob Blanchard (Marian) of Penticton. Predeceased by 6 sisters and 3 brothers. Donald was the middle child of 11 children, the family of the late Winifred and George Blanchard of Thunder Bay. He was a member of Sunningdale Golf and Country Club for over 40 years. A Memorial Service celebrating Don’s life will be held at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Anglican Church, 489 Pine Tree Drive (at Oban), on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 11:00 am with the Reverend Canon Sidney G. Smithson officiating. Friends will be received by the family after the service. A private family Inurnment will take place at a later date in Woodland Cemetery, London.
