Obituary
PULFORD…………
Charles Malcolm in his 92nd year, made his departure late Friday night December 21, 2012 at Parkwood Hospital with his son Geoff and daughter-in-law Roseanne there to bid him farewell. He is also survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Greta, his son Brent and his grandchildren Andrew, Christopher and John. Charles, or “Chuck”, will be remembered for his infectious sense of humor, his generosity and insatiable curiosity. A dedicated golfer for most of his life, he cherished the days he spent at Sunningdale Golf Club where he’d been a member for over 50 years. Among his many achievements, most of which he rarely spoke of, he was especially proud of the year he spent as president of the London Kiwanis Club. An accomplished woodworker, his meticulous handiwork and finely wrought furnishings remain as a testament to a hobby that brought him great personal satisfaction. But to those closest to him, he will best be remembered for his loving spirit, easy wit and his uncanny ability to put others, regardless of who they were or where they came from, at ease. Though he is missed already, family and friends are ever richer for the lifetime of truly fond memories he leaves behind. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27th at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the service will be conducted in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. Thursday. Interment of cremated remains in Woodland Cemetery, London at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the CNIB London Chapter, 749 Baseline Road East, London, ON N6C 2R6. Online condolences, memories and pictures shared at www.amgfh.com

Uncle Chuck’s humour, wit, enthusiasm for life and gentle, caring way are traits I (and many others) will remember and cherish. He was a great man who I am honoured to have had as my uncle. Aunt Greta, Brent, Geoff, Roseanne and boys – I am so sorry for your loss.
I had the pleasure of working with Chuck in my exercise class at Parkwood. He was always happy and upbeat making him a joy to work with. He will be missed and remembered.

I thought Charlie was a sweetheart.I really enjoyed being his nurse when he was on Essex at Parkwood Hospital.I enjoyed talking to him,he always had lots of good stories. My mom Marilyn Levi,(Fuller) who is 90 came in once to visit him.She knew him from Patterson High in Windsor,Ont.
I think often of Uncle Chuck his wit, his warmth his joy for life. So glad that he was part of my time on this planet. Love you nephew “Jimmy”
