We will miss this fine lady. We are happy that Vera was blessed to have such a loving friend and caregiver, Judi Ohm, who took care of her many needs over the years and was there to the end.
We are very saddened to hear of Vera’s passing. She was a strong, intelligent, principled woman throughout her life that always had time for others. We enjoyed spending time or speaking with her and Uncle Wes over the years, listening to the stories of their many travels. As recently as March of last year we had the opportunity to visit with her while she was still in her apartment and received a letter from her only a few weeks ago learning that she had moved to assisted living. Vera will be greatly missed.
Aunt Vera was one of my favorite Aunts, she was always so calm and seemed so relaxed. Never a harsh word from her (perhaps maybe a “look”) but always positive reinforcement. Her passing marks the end of a “generation”.
My Condolences to Vera’s family. She attended our Cherryhill coffee chat that we had once a month. We will miss her very much.
