Bill Hahn

HAHN, William Chester Jacob “Bill” – of London passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at University Hospital in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Jean Hahn (2013). Loving father of Alan (Sandi), and Bob (Margo). Much loved grandfather of Emma, Matt, Amanda (Mike) and Sara and great grandfather of Chloe and Connor in Winnipeg. Predeceased by his eleven older siblings. Bill was born January 1, 1917 and raised in Toronto where he met and married Jean in 1942. Dad worked at CN Rail in Toronto for almost 40 years before retiring to Guelph with Mom. He loved time spent with family and friends, fishing and gardening. Dad loved to be busy; there was always a project on the go. He never lost his sense of humour and delighted us with his stories that were uniquely Dad. Dad was proud of us all and we were proud to call him Dad and Grandpa. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service on Tuesday June 24, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, ON.
