Sue was one of the greatest friends I’ve had the pleasure of having. We used to speak of her writings, of life, and of things we found amusing. When I saw her book for the first time,I was amazed at her creative ability (she hadn’t showed me her writing before). Her stories captured my interest and her ability to express herself in words is one I’ve seen in very few people. Sue had a spirit for life that was impossible to ignore. She was carefree, honest, and cared very deeply for her loved ones. She will be missed, and she will never be forgotten. Rest is sweetest paradise, you fantastic friend, you wonderful, wonderful woman.

What a shock to read of Susan’s sudden passing in the London Free Press. She was full of life, a delightful person. Peter & I are so glad that we were able to share the happiness of his 80th birthday celebration on March 3 with Susan and Bernie. That is how we will remember her. Bernie, we are thinking of you as you go through this difficult life transition – a life without Susan, after 48 years together. God bless. Marion & Peter Denny

I have been looking for Susan, but not able to find anything until now. She has come to me in dreams. I am deeply saddened over her passing. I did send a message a while back to a Bernie Koenig on Facebook, but may have been wrong person, because I never received a response. We became friends in 1955. I was at her and Bernie’s wedding. Lost touch after their move to Canada. I will have to look for her book. With sympathy to family. RIP Susan.
