BOUK, John E. (Jack) 95 years,
It is with a heavy heart that Jack’s family announce the peaceful passing of a true gentleman, in his 96th year. Loving and loyal, husband and soul mate for over 72 years to Dolly (Vera). Predeceased by his sisters Elva Mae (late Donald) and Mary (late Nelson). Loving father of Linda (Russ Bolton), David (Evelyn) and Lisa (Gary Gorham). Poppa was an inspiration to his Grandchildren Anne Kuipers (Michael), Christine, Steven (Heather), Jeffrey, Daryl (Melissa), Jonathan and Sarah, as well as many great grandchildren. Moreover, Jack and Dolly were thought of as parental figures by many of the extended family members. He was “Poppa” to many and will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and special friends near and far. Jack was born, lived his entire life and passed away on “Bouk’s Lane”, now known as Jarvis Street. A self-educated man steeped in common sense, honesty and integrity. There was no challenge he would not undertake. He will be missed but continues to live in the hearts of those he touched. A Celebration of Life to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 501, Lambeth, 7097 Kilbourne Rd, London, ON N6P 1K5 or the charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to A. MILLARD GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, 60 Ridout Street South, London. Online condolences, memories and photographs shared at www.amgfh.com.

Uncle Jack you will surely be missed. I have many wonderful memories of great times with Larry & I. Sincere condolences to Aunt Dolly and family.
Love, Lynn
No matter how much time elapsed between visits I always knew my second Dad was there for me. So many memories from childhood to present. The Sunday trips looking for horse sleds, carridges, and harness we saw many a hay loft and farm. Lots of laughs and your knowledge could be counted on to care for our horses. Thanks for a bed numerous times when it was too far to go home. Your quiet assurance was always there to comfort. So appreciated and loved. We will miss you terribly but a wonderful life you have had. Hoping I will always be your second daughter as do many others also. Love forever. Lynne and Bill

I always adored Jack Bouk, and his family. I swam in your pool, I went to camp with you precious little girl Lisa, I so wished you were my own family. Thankyou for the time and love you gave a scared little girl as she grew up on Westwood drive. Love to you Dolly and Lisa and family. I was so glad I got to see Jack at the Hyland theatre. His soft spoken words were always truth. Eileen Howard Fralick.

From stories of childhood days, when my Dad and Aunt grew up across the road, to great times when my family and I moved back to London, our family has nothing but great memories of time spent with Jack and Dolly over the years.
You have always made me feel like I belonged in your extended family. That means the world to me.

Jack was always the quiet man, but one-on-one, he had a lot of knowledge and humour to share. He was a great friend to my parents and we always enjoyed visiting with him on Ilderton Fair day. Our condolences to Dolly, Linda, David, Lisa and families.
