Sympathy to Evelyn and her family in the death of her mother, grandmother
Dear family of Jessie Barker,
We are very saddened to hear the news of Bessie. We first met her at Ashwood Manor where our mother, Gertrud Hossfeld was also a resident. Bessie was very friendly to Gertrud from the beginning and once gave her a Christmas card signed, your friend Bessie. She was easy to converse with and we often saw her walking outside on that beautiful property. Later we met her again on Lily, at Westmount Gardens. We often took the time to talk with her even though it was hard for her to grasp what we were saying. She was a very sweet woman. Gertrud moved to McCormick Home in July but we often thought of Bessie even though we did not see her again.
Our deepest condolences to all. Thinking of you.
Sincerely,
Hans and Mariane Hossfeld
