It is with much sadness and great love, that the family announces her peaceful passing, of Joan (Jolly) Hancock, of London, on Saturday, December 6, 2014, at LHSC University Hospital, in her 80th year.Beloved wife of the late Jerry Hancock (1994).Loving mother of Michele and Melissa Hancock.
Fondly remembered by her brother-in-law Ron White.Cherished aunt of Scott and Patti White, Melynda and John White, Stephen and Julie White.Dear great aunt of Matthew, Paul (Victoria), Lucas, Catherine, Lauren and Alana. Predeceased by her sister Jacqueline White (2004) and her brother James Jolly (2008).Joan will be sadly missed by all of her special life long friends and neighbours. A heartfelt thank you to all the medical professionals for their exceptional care at Invermere Hospital BC., East Kootenay Hospital BC., Rockyview General Hospital AB., and LHSC University Hospital ON.Friends will be received by the family from 2-4pm & 7-9pm on Friday, December 12, 2014 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London.The funeral service will be conducted at St. Aidan’s Anglican Church, 1246 Oxford Street West, London , on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 10am. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery. Rest in peace with your beloved husband Jerry. I will sorely miss our wonderful get togethers at New Years, Xmas, July 1st, The Grand, the Knights games and the list could go on.

Our whole family is so very sorry to hear about your mum. She was such a grand and lovely lady…I can’t remember a summer when we didn’t get together to visit and catch up.
