Fran and I crossed paths many years ago when she worked for Progressive Printing and her brother-in-law Fred Schuster. It was back in the good ‘ol days! She was always with a smile and laugh to boost everyone’s enthusiasm. I just wish now that I had the means to share this sad occasion with some of the sales and service people from Sears (Reichhold). She will always be remembered as she is in her picture – smiling, classy and gorgeous.
Sincerely, Ruth Woods (former employee of Sears-Reichhold, London office)
I met Fran volunteering at the Grand. My condolences to the family. I miss her humour and her dance moves to the musicals that played at the Grand. I miss movies at the Hyland with Chinese food after. I am glad she came into my life.
TO ALL THE MATHEWS FAMILY–OUR SINCERE SYMPATHY AND CONDOLENCES IN THE RECENT LOSS OF FRANNIE– SHE WAS A LOVELY LADY AND I’M SURE EVERYONE WILL MISS HER VERY MUCH–GOD BLESS YOU AND GIVE YOU STRENGTH IN THIS DIFFICULT TIME–PEGGY AND MARGARET (JOHN’S SISTER)
We will miss Fran, our co-worker at Progressive Printing, our neighbour and our friend. She always stopped for conversation on her walks through the neighbourhood while we were out gardening in the yard. And we could always tell when Christmas was coming… Fran’s was the first card we received.
Our sincere condolences to her family.
Fran was our sunshine with a great sense of fun and generous spirit which we shall always cherish. May the many happy memories carry family and friends through this time.
