Obituary
NORMAN, Herb….
Herbert passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4th, 2015 with his family by his side, in his 88th year. He was well loved and will be deeply missed by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy (née Pickles), daughters Tracy and Shelley, and his beloved grandchildren Beth and York and their partners. He is also survived by his sisters Doris Scott, Joan White and Virginia Nuckolls and their extended families. Herb enjoyed working for many years at Oxford Dodge Chrysler in London. His dry sense of humour and his loyalty to friends and family will be missed. Herb’s passions, in addition to his family, were the Pittsburgh Steelers and golfing. We are consoled with our belief that he is now able to play as many rounds of golf as he likes. Fore! The family extends heartfelt thanks to the team on the 2nd floor at Extendicare for their care and support. There are truly angels among us.
There will be no service. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 180-633 Colborne Street, London ON N6B 2V3 and MS Society, 21 Grosvenor Street, London ON N6A 4V2 are greatly appreciated. A. Tracy … I know the emotions you and your family are going through all to well and my heart breaks that a hug is not enough to make the grief and sadness go away. You always spoke so well of your Dad that I know he was your rock. You have great strength yourself my friend and when you need his again you only need to draw on the wonderful memories of his love and support throughout your life.
Wilma
