MACAULAY, Edith Frances….
Peacefully in the presence of family, at McCormick Home, London, on Thursday, February 19, 2015, Edith (Bullas) Macaulay, in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late John ‘Jack” H. Macaulay (1994). Much loved mother of Elizabeth “Bette” Macaulay, Gwen Laskey , Ken Macaulay (Cathy), Madeline Macaulay and Jeanne Poole (Mark). Proud grandmother of Louise (Tidi), David (Shirley), Sandra (Peter), Steven (Jill), Jody (Scott), Rob (Kim), Laura (Craig), Sarah (Darryl), Adrienne (Jay), Peter and Heather (Scott) and dearly loved by her eleven great-grandchildren. Edith will be missed by her sister Lily Bishop. Predeceased by her sister Madeline (Martin) Hendel, her brothers George (Grace) and Leonard; her brother-in-law Harry Bishop and sons-in-law Bill Laskey, Pete Knowles and Tony Giles. Edith will be fondly remembered by her many relatives and friends. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the care and compassion provided by the staff at McCormick Home. Reunited at last with her beloved Johnny. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior (12:30-1:30pm) on Tuesday, February, 24th at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel at 1:30pm. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London ON. I was saddened to hear of the passing of Edith. I have fond memories of the many visits my family and I had with Jack and Edith over the years.
