Heartfelt sympathy on the loss of Frank. I worked with Frank for many years at both the old and new Court House. He was well liked and respected by all. Our group of co-workers from the old days will certainly miss spending time with him when we get together.
Rest in Peace “FFA”
I worked with Frank for nearly 30 yrs. at the old and present Court House, great guy. He’ll be missed especially at our annual “old gang” get together dinners.
Rest in peace Frank.
Deepest Sympathy to the families.
Margaret Preston (Wilkes)
My condolences to Frank’s family and dear friends. I met Frank in August 1985 when I started working at the Courthouse. He was quite an intimidating man given his size and booming voice, however it did not take me long to realize that he was truly an honourable gentle man. He was such an excellent mentor, one could learn so much from him, which I certainly did, primarily in regard to the court’s statistics. He was well liked, well respected and had a quick wit. I will truly miss him at our bi-annual courthouse dinners. Always in my heart, you will remain. Sincerely Penny
I was truly saddened to hear of the passing of Frank Anger. Frank was a co-worker of mine and a member of the group known as “the old gang” who worked at the old and new courthouse. Frank was wonderful to work with. He made me laugh on a daily basis. I can still hear his snicker type laugh. His bark was louder than his bite. He was really just a big “teddy bear”. Frank loved his work and his co-workers and took pride in both. And he loved his gadgets that adorned his desk. Frank was a perfectionist in all aspects of his life; his work, his penmanship, his tea, and his person. I used to call him “Dapper Dan” and he loved it. You will be missed Frank and the void at our semi-annual dinner table will not go unnoticed. My sincere condolences to Frank’s family.
Frank was the first person I met from the Courthouse when I arrived in London in 1979. He had a welcoming way about him. Among others, I will miss him. Sincerely Ellen (posted on Ellen’s behalf by Penny)
My sincere condolences to your family. We were truly saddened to hear of Franks passing. He will be sadly missed as a friend and neighbor.
My thoughts, prayers and love are with you and your family during this difficult time.
I was very sorry to hear of Frank’s passing. Although he had been in ill health for some time his death nonetheless was a shock.
I knew, and worked, with Frank for roughly l7 years. At that time I was transferred to Guelph. While I was no longer working in London I still felt a tremendous bond with the London staff and kept contact with them as much as possible. Following my retirement I was invited, and attended, some of the spring and fall dinners held by the staff where my friendship with Frank was renewed.
Frank knew his job from top to bottom and carried it out in a very professional manner. He held the respect of the judiciary and legal community both of whom recognized his knowledge and competence.
Frank will be missed by his co-workers and friends.
My sincere sympathy is extended to Franks’ family.
