We send our condolences to Marion and her family on the sad passing of Doug. It’s at times like these we wish we were closer.
Although we only met Doug on 3 occasions we were very fond of him. We shall always remember his wry sense of humour and the twinkle in his eye! We have his fretwork clock in our dining room and think of him when we check the time.
We have made a donation to The Royal British Legion today, Great Britain’s Remembrance Day.
God Bless
From Carol and Barry (from the U.K.)
My condolences to Marion and family. Such sad news on Doug’s passing. We have lots of fond memories of Doug when we came to visit you in Canada and when you visited us in the UK. Will be sadly missed. Lots of love to all the family’s. Sarah and Mark from the UK.
They “broke the mold,” when they made Uncle Doug Harrington. He called a “spade a spade,” and always had time to make you laugh. I will fondly remember all the creations he made by hand for me when I was younger, and the times spent with him and Aunt Marion in Dorchester. My family’s thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Marion, and the whole Harrington family, in this difficult time.
So sorry to hear of Doug’s demise. My prayers and sympathy go out to you Marion and family at this sad point in your lives.

We sincerely hope your cherished memories will help ease the pain and sorrow you are feeling. I take solace in knowing Uncle Doug is reunited with his brother Don and his sister (my Mom) Betty. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
