WILLSIE, Maxwell…
Peacefully at Chelsey Park Nursing Home, London on Sunday, January 10, 2016, Maxwell Willsie in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Luella Irene (Muckle) Willsie (2008). Dear father of Max and Donna Willsie of Waterloo, Ted and Bonnie Willsie of London, Peter and Sandy Willsie of Cambridge. Loving grandfather of Chad and Jennifer, Derek and Sandra, Carrie-Mae and Chris, Beckie and Darren, Cheyenne and great-grandfather of Justin, Hayden, Brooke, Max, Jake and Cole. Predeceased by his brother Andy (2014). Survived by his sister-in-law Doris Willsie of London. Maxwell will be remembered fondly by his nieces, nephews and friends. Thank you to the Chelsey Park staff for their exceptional care and compassion of our father. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior to the funeral service being conducted in the chapel of the A. Millard George Funeral Home , 60 Ridout Street, South, London on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Elisabeth Parsons of Calvary United Church officiating. Interment in Dorchester Union Cemetery, Dorchester. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of London & Middlesex, 435 Windermere Road, London, Ontario, N5X 2T1. Max was a real gentleman, a coach, a
sports enthusiast, the number one fan of our Miller’s ball team and I’m sure a great father and husband. He will be missed.

I knew Max *all* of my life.

I have great memories of Max Willsie and our adventures at the hockey rinks and ballparks.My regrets that I could not make the funeral but I will be sure to keep the good memories.
