WESTERIK, Geri….
Peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on Monday, March 21, 2016. Geri Westerik passed after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 69. Loving mother of Brenden and his wife Allison and cherished grandma of Emma and Ryan. Dear sister of Corrie (Art), Audrey (Pete), Mynie (Jack), Wilma, Sally, Gretta, John and Joost. Beloved sister-in-law of Joanne, Bill (Wendy), Herman and Dianne. Predeceased by sister Jennifer. Geri will be remembered by many friends and family as a devout Christian, a volunteer with many charities and for her love of bowling. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior (1-2 pm) to the funeral service being held at the Talbot Street Church, 513 Talbot Street, London ON N6A 2S5 on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Talbot Street Church. A. Millard George Funeral Home entrusted with funeral arrangements 519-433-5184. l was very fond of Geri. She was a great person and I am very sad of her passing. l only met Geri when I came to the church 3 years ago, and I attended coffee break with her and I prayed a lot for her and hope she is happy in her new home of heaven. I send condolences to all the family.
