McBRIDE, Georgia “Joey”
Peacefully at her home, at Amica, London, on Friday, August 12, 2016 Georgia “Joey”(Cook) McBride of London in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late W. Stuart “Stu” McBride (2015) for 64 years.Loving mother of Julie McBride of London. Pre-deceased by her son David McBride (2006). Dear mother-in-law of Carol McBride. Cherished grandma of William, Andrew and Robert. Dear sister-in-law of Donna Parrott and her husband Harry. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Joey has been a long time member of Calvary United Church. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 6 – 8 pm on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The Memorial Service will be conducted in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 11am with Reverend Kenji Mauri officiating (Please note change of dates). Private family interment in Baird Cemetery, Stanley Township. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Calvary United Church Memorial and Special Projects Fund, 290 Ridout Street South, London ON N6C 3Z1.
