MONCK, Elsa…..
Passed away peacefully with family at her side, on Thursday, January 19, 2017, at McCormick Home, London, in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Herb Monck. Loving mother of Herb Jr. (Jenny), Bill (Bev), Alex (Judy), John (Lynda), Berndena (Don), Christine (Bill), Pauline (Rob) and Lawrence. Sister-in-law of Berndena Karau (late Edwin). Cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren and their families. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings, Rosa Kelo, Henry Karau, Edward Karau, Hilda Karau, Fred Karau, Edwin Karau, Irene Mau, Dora Schutt, Elfrieda Kumm, and her son-in-law Wayne Neaves. Daughter of the late William and Martha Karau (nee Wolfgram). A special thank you to McCormick Home for their loving care and support to Elsa. Friends will be received at A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 7-9pm, and on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 10-11am, where the funeral service will be held at 11am. Interment to follow at Dorchester Union Cemetery. Donations in Elsa’s memory would be appreciated to McCormick Care Foundation, 2022 Kains Road, London, ON N6K 0A8.
