SUMNER, Mary…..
After a nine year struggle with neuroendocrine cancer, Mary passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 at home in her 77th year. Beloved wife of Jim Sumner for 55 years. Devoted and loving mother of Martha (Wayne) Nickoli and Dave Sumner. Cherished grandmother of Patrick & James Nickoli. Dear sister of Carol Leeson, Sylvia McKinlay both of B.C., Barry (Myrna) McKinlay of Tillsonburg and David (Lori) McKinlay of Sarnia. Dear sister-in-law of Charlie (Wendy) Sumner, Linda Brighton and Judy Sumner. Mary will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Mary’s last assignment with the TVDSB was as an ESL teacher at Princess Elizabeth P.S. Friends will be received by family from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. In keeping with Mary’s wishes there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. A special thank you to the VON PSW’s and the VON Palliative PSW’s and nurses for their caring support over the last few months.
