My sincere condolences on your mom’s passing. “169” was always a welcoming home…whether indoors or poolside there were lively discussions about baseball, books and neighbourhood happenings! I’ll always have fond memories of Betty. May you rest in peace my old neighbour and friend! Love, Jane
Our heartfelt sympathy to the entire family at this sad time. Betty lived a long life, very active until recent years, enjoying family and friends. She loved sewing, shopping, dancing, theatre going, Christmas, her pet dogs and egg salad sandwiches! With John and Debbie connecting our families, over the years we shared many special gatherings to fondly recall.
May your memories of special moments shared with Betty, serve now to comfort each of you in your loss.
Hugs,
Dorothy
John and Debbie – Ginger sent us the announcement today. We are sorry for your loss. It seems it was a life well lived but still hard to lose your mom.
Congratulations on a long life well lived. The last few years have certainly been a struggle for Aunt Bette and family but let’s all remember her kind spirit, love of family and gentle soul. The lemon and pumpkin pies were a family hit as well!
Sending our love to John and Deb, Rob and Denise, Julie and Ike and families,
Cathy and Brian
Betty was a great neighbour and friend. I have great memories of her backyard pool, blueberry picking and our many trips to the Huron Country Playhouse. Thoughts and prayers to the family.
John, Rob, Julie ~
our sincerest heartfelt condolences on your loss.
I will fondly remember your mom’s uniquely kind, positive and caring nature. Whenever I saw her, she always carried a warm smile and enjoyed a gentle laugh. Mrs. Haddow was a very special person, wife and mother, who was clearly most pleased and proud of her family.
“Those we love don’t go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed, and very dear.”
Our kindest regards and wishes, Darrell & Claire
